   This is the steel web of the eastern side of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge, soon to be dismantled.
   

2. Disappearing Bridge

   This bridge, this strong, massive work horse, is soon to be destroyed and replaced with a newer model, many years and billions of dollars in the making.

   Here is one of our many Crane Dog sentinels, standing at the edge of Oakland, watching West.
