Memory and Desire

6x 5 1/2" monotype from two plates. This was an early study from a body of work in progress based on T.S. Eliot's poem, "The Waste Land." It's from the lines:
"April is the cruelest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain."

Available.
