11x29" monotype with chine collé
Sixteen plates were prepared with yellow or dark orange watercolor and laid, tilted in various ways and overlapping, over a drawing of the studio's amaryllis. The amaryllis was painted in, and the plates were then separated and printed. The chine collé is from torn pieces of the underdrawing.
