Mutannabi Street Broadside Project

Interactive letterpress broadside of the poem "Diameter of a Bomb" by Yehuda Amachai and translated by Chana Block. The broadside opens in fragments to simulate an exploded bomb blast. The project commemorates the bomb blast set off on Mutannabi Street, the main marketplace where books were sold in Baghdad. Proceeds from broadside sales go to Doctors Without Borders. The show will be touring to other venues soon. Dates and times TBA.

Beyond Boundries

This is a collaborative series by over thirty artsits assembled by The Chicago Printmakers Collaborative, based on the theme "Beyond Boundries" established by the city for Chicago Artists Month. Each work is 12x12" and has a line that enters the piece in the middle on the left and one that exits the piece on the right. When the pieces are hung in a row, the entry and exit line on each side lines up with the piece beside it, yet each artist's style and interpretation of the theme is quite varied. This series will also be touring. Dates and places TBA.
